Resumo da Dissertação de Mestrado (Qualificação) "Tendências temáticas no ensino de Ciências: expectativas de educados e educandos sobre as aulas na EJA"

O interesse por essa pesquisa se deu a partir de minhas experiências vivenciadas durante a graduação e pós-graduação em programas e projetos na área da Educação em Ciências e Educação de Jovens em Adultos/EJA. Para tanto realizei uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo junto a professores de Ciências e alunos de 4ª etapa da EJA a fim de investigar como tem ocorrido as aulas de Ciências na EJA, quais as principais expectativas e tendências desse ensino. A princípio, fiz o levantamento das escolas do bairro X que possuem turmas de 4ª etapa, selecionei as três escolas mais populosas para realizar o trabalho. Em seguida, apliquei um questionário piloto junto aos alunos que inclusive foi inviabilizado devido a dificuldade de leitura, compreensão e escrita dos alunos. Dessa forma, utilizamos entrevista semi-estrutura e coletiva com alunos a fim de coletar o maior número de opiniões sobre as aulas de Ciências e entrevista individual de caráter semi-estruturado com professores. As entrevistas evidenciaram que as aulas de Ciências são dialógicas e livrescas ma que estão pautadas no modelo transmissão-assimilação de conteúdos previamente estabelecidos e a tendência mais freqüente e significativa no ensino de Ciências apontada por professores e alunos da EJA é Saúde, Sexualidade e Meio Ambiente.

The interest for that research gave him starting from my experiences lived during the graduation and masters degree in programs and projects in the area of the Education in Sciences and Education of Youths in Adults/EJA. For so much I accomplished a research of qualitative character close to teachers of Sciences and students of 4th stage of EJA in order to investigate as it has been happening the classes of Sciences in EJA, which the main expectations and tendencies of that teaching. At first, I made the rising of the schools of the neighborhood X that possess groups of 4th stage, I selected the three more populous schools to accomplish the work. Soon after, I applied a pilot questionnaire close to the students that besides was made unfeasible due to reading difficulty, understanding and the students' writing. In that way, we used interview semi-structure and collective with students in order to collect the largest number of opinions on the classes of Sciences and glimpses individual of character semi-structured with teachers. The interviews evidenced that the classes of Sciences are dynamics and bookish ma that are previously set in the model transmission-assimilation of contents established and the most frequent and significant tendency in the teaching of Sciences pointed by teachers and students of EJA is Health, Sexuality and environment.
